Virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) have gained significant popularity, especially within the arts and entertainment scene. London, in particular, has witnessed a growing presence of VR arcades. During our recent visit to the Battersea branch of DNA VR, conveniently located near the Power Station, we explored the world of VR gaming.

DNA VR offers an engaging and immersive gaming experience suitable for all ages. During our visit, we enjoyed a 60-minute multiplayer session with a choice of over 70 games.

The game choices catered to a wide spectrum of preferences. From engaging and rhythmic experiences like Ragnarock, where players drum along to music, to the creative outlet provided by Tilt Brush, enabling users to paint in three dimensions. The options also included culinary adventures and challenging survival games like After the Fall, a zombie survival challenge for up to four players. It's an ideal choice for an entertaining night out with friends.

Furthermore, DNA VR doesn't limit itself to pure entertainment. It also offers educational opportunities, such as exploring the world through Google Earth VR and embarking on virtual safaris with Nature Treks VR, featuring encounters with more than 20 different animals.

For those seeking group entertainment, DNA VR presents a VR Escape Room that accommodates up to six participants. Together, you can dive into puzzle-solving adventures with varying difficulty levels, including scenarios like prison breaks, and immersive escapades in beloved gaming worlds like Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia.

Whether you're planning a fun outing with friends, an unforgettable date night, or a team-building event with colleagues, DNA VR promises an immersive adventure suitable for both seasoned gamers and newcomers.

Are VR arcades the future? Not sure, but they sure are a great time!
