The Louvre is one of the most famed museums in the world and home to Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa painting. The Mona Lisa is the most famous piece of artwork in the world and hangs behind bulletproof glass.  With over 30,000 pieces of artwork on display, the Louvre has so much more to offer with artwork from the 7th century BS to the 19th century and one of the most extensive collections of Egyptian and Roman art in the world. The glass pyramid entrance to the Louvre by Architect I.M. Pei is as much a draw to the museum as the artwork.

We recommend you book your ticket for the Louvre online to skip the queue. Don’t expect to view the entire art collection in one day, it would take quite a few days to complete!
