Transport

The city's attractions are conveniently located within close proximity, making it easy to see all that Copenhagen has to offer. The airport is a quick 13-minute ride away on the metro or a 19-minute taxi ride. A Copenhagen Card can also be a great investment for your trip. The card gives you unlimited use of public transport and free entry to 89 attractions for either 24 or 48 hrs. Cards can be purchased online or at the airport. Prices start from 439 DKK (approx £51).

A visit to the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art is well worth the journey, but it does require a bit of planning. Located 35 km north of Copenhagen, the museum is easily accessible by bus, train, or car. While taking a taxi from the city centre to the museum can be quite costly, upwards of 800 DKK (approximately £93), we recommend taking a train to Humlebæk Station and completing the last leg of the journey with a leisurely 10-minute walk to the museum. Nikolaj Kunsthal

Their most recent exhibition CryptoPong is a group exhibition that presents Danish and international artists who are respectively pioneers in the field of XR art. Nikolaj Kunsthal is one of the first art galleries in Scandinavia to showcase an exhibition that sheds light on the phenomenon of NFT art. This must-see exhibition runs until. Design Museum Denmark (or Designmuseum Danmark)

Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek

We went to see Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The playful adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic is one of the mostmesmerisingl ballet performances. It was fascinating to see the incredibly talented dancers execute each movement with intricate precision and elegant grace.

In Denmark, the arts are supported by the state, making it an accessible and affordable cultural experience for all. Rosenberg Castle and Christiansborg Palace

Tivoli Gardens

Step into the enchanting world of Tivoli Gardens, one of Copenhagen's most beloved attractions for visitors of all ages. When to go?

Summer is an ideal time to be in Copenhagen with a string of activities occurring, including the Copenhagen Summer Festival (classical chamber music, 29 July-9 August), Ballet Season (early autumn until spring), Opera Season (July-August), Fashion Week (7-10 August). Pride (14-19 August) and the festival for electronic music Strøm (8-11 August).
