Things to do in London in November 2026
November is the month London stops pretending it is still autumn. The bonfires are lit in the first week, the Christmas lights go up from the 4th, and four major exhibitions open within a fortnight of each other. Ian McKellen returns to the stage in Hackney Wick, Pitchfork and the EFG London Jazz Festival take over close to a hundred venues between them, and on the 28th the London Museum opens its new home in Smithfield after almost four years closed.
