The Great Supper by Sara Shakeel returns to London's Design District

For a limited time, NOW Gallery is hosting a special exhibition, 'The Great Supper' by Sara Shakeel, at the Greenwich Peninsula District for London Design Festival 2023.

First exhibited in 2019, Sara Shakeel creatively transformed NOW Gallery into a banquet setting adorned with Swarovski glass crystals. Shakeel happens to be one of the few artists in the world licensed to use Swarovski glass crystals in their work.The Great Supper showcases an artistic arrangement of everyday objects, accentuated by the addition of these crystals, providing viewers with a fresh perspective on common household items.

Shakeel, a renowned artist known for her collage and crystal works, has gained widespread recognition for her ability to convey human emotions through artistic creations. Her recent collaboration with notable brands and institutions, including Linda Farrow, The Wallace Museum, Evian, BMW, and others, attests to her rising prominence in the art world. The Great Supper embodies Shakeel's subversive and witty dialogue.
