Halloween at Kew 2025

#FLODown: Halloween at Kew 2025 turns the Royal Botanic Gardens into a fun, family-friendly Halloween trail. The 1.5 km route features glowing pumpkins, interactive installations, and gentle frights, making it perfect for children and adults alike. Expect illuminated trees, an abandoned fairground, ‘living’ corpses, and a headless horseman, offering plenty of spooky surprises along the way.

#FLODown: Frieze Sculpture 2025 in Regent’s Park is a fantastic outdoor art experience for families. With over 20 large-scale artworks by international artists, children can explore playful and interactive sculptures, from life-sized straw animals to wooden totems inspired by nature and folklore. The exhibition encourages creativity and curiosity, and with workshops and plenty of open space to run around, it’s a fun and inspiring day out for kids of all ages.

Family Freestyle

Family Freestyle at Sadler's Wells and at Sadler’s Wells East in Stratford

#FLODown: Get your little ones moving at Family Freestyle, a fun, interactive dance workshop for children aged 2–4 and their parents or carers. Led by professional dance artists, these sessions encourage kids to explore a variety of dance styles while developing coordination, creativity, and social skills. Each session lasts an hour, including a 50-minute dance class, and is suitable for up to two children per accompanying adult. Sessions also available at Sadler’s Wells East in Stratford and other East London venues.

#FLODown: Alphabet Soup is a fun, family-friendly event at the Royal Festival Hall featuring interactive workshops to create poems and stories inspired by the language of food. Led by artists A Line Art (Anna Bruder and Arji Manuelpillai), participants explore real and imaginary foods, playful words, and sensory storytelling to craft a collaborative literary feast. Part of the London Literature Festival, the event also includes an evolving art installation for all ages.
