#FLODown: La Ferme London

Nestled amongst some lovely pastel-coloured houses, boutique stores and other chic eateries on Regents Park Road, sits La Ferme – arguably, one of the most charming French dining restaurants in North London. They offer a delicious all-day brunch menu on weekends that features plenty of delicious cakes and classic brunch dishes to choose from.

The restaurant is reminiscent of an old style French farm, this theme is enhanced through the sophisticated interiors with abstract paintings, marigolds and wooden trays aplenty. The food is beautifully presented and the smells coming from the kitchen are hypnotic to say the least.

The French theme of the décor is understandable considering the name of the restaurant – La Ferme – and that the two owners are French themselves. Each dish is served with passion and we cannot praise the service enough. This little slice of south-west France will have you hungry – especially for cheese.

What to eat?

Croque avocado

Their most popular breakfast option is a baked sandwich with avocado, St Môret cheese, smoked salmon, pickled onion and lime. It is refreshing and flavourful – and most importantly, it’s original.

Price: £12

Mi-cuit foie gras

You can’t go to a French deli and not have foie gras with soft, buttery brioche! (…unless of course you’re a vegetarian/vegan)

French mac ‘n’cheese

“What makes it French?” we hear you say. Well, –at La Ferme they use Comté cheese for their mac n cheese. Creamy but not too rich and this is definitely up there with one of the best mac ‘n’ cheese’s we’ve ever tried!

For dessert…

Fluffy pancakes with maple syrup

#FLODown: There is a rustic feel to the décor at La Ferme. They offer a superb selection of authentic French dishes. We think it would make the perfect spot for a romantic meal or a relaxing brunch at the weekend. Plus, Primrose Hill is a mere 5 minute walk away where you will find the most wonderful views of the London skyline.
