Imagine Children’s Festival returns to the Southbank Centre in February

Southbank Centre's Imagine Children’s Festival returns with performances, arts, and inclusive fun for families during the February half term.

This year's Imagine Children’s Festival features over 130 events, offering a diverse lineup of performances and fun activities for families during the February half term. Tailored for kids aged 0 to 11, the festival provides a chance to explore music, stories, dance, crafts, and comedy in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

Highlights include performances like Motionhouse’s Starchitects: A Cosmic Adventure and Akram Khan's family-friendly Chotto Desh. Interactive installations like The Sticky Dance offer an engaging world of colour and movement. Alongside these events, there are concerts by the BBC Symphony Orchestra, shows with CBeebies favourites, and various musical experiences from classical to interactive gigs. Renowned writers and poets like John Agard, Joseph Coelho, Rosie Jones, and Michael Rosen will host engaging storytelling sessions, complemented by workshops and interactive activities.
