#FLODown: Sushisamba London
Sushisamba is a trendy restaurant and rooftop bar located on the 38th and 39th floor of the Heron Tower. It is accessible by a chic glass lift and offers a breath-taking panoramic view of London. It currently stands as the tallest rooftop bar in London and serves a unique fusion of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian food to be enjoyed with equally quirky cocktails. Expect elegance, plus, the sculptured tree with orange leaves illuminates the rooftop at night time and makes for a great picture. There is often a lively atmosphere, and despite the slightly high price tag to your cocktail, we think the views are worth it for a well-deserved ‘boujee’ evening treat!
WHAT TO DRINK ?
We love the ‘Tom Yam’ and cocktails.
The ‘Tom Yam’ is served long and contains Hendricks gin, coriander infusion, chilli, lemongrass and lime leaves, all mixed with crushed ice and finished with ginger syrup and citrus juice. Delicious.
Price: £15
‘Samba Sour’
Their signature ‘Samba Sour’ made with pisco sour, maraschino liqueur and turmeric and topped with Japanese citrus and egg whites.
Price: £14
