With lockdown still very much on the agenda, the virtual world is blowing up. From a virtual seminars about the future of London’s Transport Network to getting creative with #SaatchiTakeovers. Here are some of the virtual activities you need to check out this week…
How will London’s transport network emerge from lockdown?: The Virtual Seminar
A question on many people’s minds, as we approach a possible change in the lockdown condition, is how will we all move around London after lockdown?
#FLODown: London Travel Watch are hosting a virtual seminar this Wednesday 6th May at 2.30pm to discuss how the needs of Londoners can be met as we move into the next phase of the pandemic. Join the seminar for a chance to express your views on what travelling in London should be like as we emerge from the lockdown.
Speakers for the event will include Navin Shah, Chair of the London Assembly Transport Committee and Heidi Alexander, Deputy Mayor for Transport. You can submit questions to the panel via Twitter - @londontravelwatch.

Can’t Sing Choir: Piano Works
#FLODown: Piano Works is encouraging people to sing their way through lockdown with their ‘Can’t Sing Choir Live Stream’. Whether you’re Mariah Carey or tone deaf it’s a bit of fun and is great for getting your friends and family involved in something a bit different this week!
Join Piano Works this week at 8pm to belt out Tiny Dancer with their Elton John themed sing along!

#SaatchiTakeover: Saatchi Art Gallery
#FLODown: The Saatchi Gallery has a number of activities to keep you art lovers busy with their #SaatchiTakeover and #SaatchiArtClub.
The Saatchi Gallery has been sharing creations from the public during the lockdown with their #SaatchiTakeover. Each week the gallery provides a new theme and they select their favourites every #SaatchiSaturday to be featured on the Gallery’s Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts. FYI, this is just not for artists. Plus, you don’t have to create any art to get involved, just have a look at the hashtags above on social media and see what other people have been up to.
The gallery is also bringing together artists, creatives and educators with their live art discussions and workshops - #SaatchiArtClub. These are going on every single day at 4pm on their Instagram live. We can’t wait for Wednesday’s guests, Philip Colbert and Duggie Fields!
