Art fairs to see during Paris Art Week 2026
You may have exhausted London’s artistic offerings this week, but as we all know by now, the art calendar waits for no one. As Frieze draws to a close, FLO London turns its attention across the Channel to the fairs unfolding alongside Paris Art Week, and to what this November’s Paris Photo has in store (spoiler: did you know 2026 marks the bicentennial of photography?). Whether you’ve already planned your next trip on the Eurostar or need some convincing, we’re here to tell you Art Basel isn’t the only fair you should have on your radar…

#FLODown: Many fairs like to boast they’re ‘not like other fairs’, all while giving the same monotonous spiel. However, when it comes to Paris Internationale, you must know they really do stand outside the box. Tickets are not only free, but the fair is also nomadic one, frequently taking over historic urban spaces and collaborating with renowned architects to create minimalist, low-intervention spaces that change year on year. As for the art on show, expect there to be a certain kind of addictive buzz surrounding the non-profit gallery spaces. After all, this is the fair The New York Times dubbed as ‘the week’s must-attend curtain-raiser for those looking for new or overlooked talent’. Are you a collector trying to hedge your bets on the city’s next young star? There’s only one place to be.
Date: 20–24 October 2026. Location: 187–189 Quai de Valmy, 75010 Paris. Price: Free. Discover more.
OFFSCREEN
La Chapelle Saint-Louis de la Salpêtrière. Hôpital Pitié-Salpétrière, AP-HP - Photo Lympa Architectures
#FLODown: We all know just how uncivilised art fairs can feel: especially when you’re running low on fuel in more ways than one, hair sweaty and cheeks rosy. Luckily, when attending Off Screen, such experiences are virtually nil. Why? You only have to click on their website to find out: ‘Off Screen has cemented its position as one of the most intellectually rigorous and aesthetically rewarding experiences of Paris Art Week’, boasts its platform. And with Cob Gallery and Lucca Hue-Williams’ Albion Jeune repping London’s art scene in the French capital, this year’s edition promises a little taste of home. Don’t mind if we do.
Date: 20–25 October 2026. Location: La Chapelle Saint-Louis de la Salpêtrière. Access through Marie Curie Garden 47, Bd de l'Hôpital, 75013 Paris. Price: €12. Concessions available. Discover more.
Design Miami Paris

#FLODown: When the art gets too much, take yourself to Design Miami Paris for a scenery switch-up where galleries don’t just prioritise painting but other objets d’art that your traditional tented fair booth may stereotypically ignore (there really are only so many Picassos you can see in a day before you start to coincidentally emulate the Weeping Woman herself). This year marks the fair’s fourth edition in the City of Light and promises to be a five-day explosion of luxury and taste set against the backdrop of the L’hôtel de Maisons, once home to fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. Très Chic!
Date: 20–25 October 2026. Location: L'hôtel de Maisons, 51 Rue de l'Université, 75007 Paris. Price: €42. Concessions available. Discover more.
Offprint

#FLODown: Offprint is the fair for you if you’re looking for some literary refreshment during Paris Art Week as independent publishers, artists, collectives and practitioners from around the world come together to share their publications, research and distinctive approaches to publishing. In addition to the fair’s stands, a series of invigorating talks, listening sessions, screenings and book signings promise to bring Offprint’s 2026 programme to life. If you’re on the hunt for the perfect coffee table book to show off your cultivated taste, there’s nowhere better to be this Paris Art Week.
Date: 22–25 October 2026. Location: Césure (Grand Plateau), 13 rue Santeuil, 75005 Paris. Price: Free. Discover more.
Moderne Art Fair

#FLODown: Looking to refresh your home with fine art on the walls and luxury design? Calling all collectors: Moderne Art Fair has your back. Each year, the fair brings together French and international galleries to incite new ways of looking at and experiencing art and design from the 20th and 21st centuries, with this year’s programme (featuring 60+ participants) placing particular emphasis on the connection between European modernity, Pop Art and contemporary visual culture. Place de la Concorde, here we come.
Date: 22–25 October 2026. Location: Temporary pavilions, Place de la Concorde, 75008 Paris. Price: €25. Concessions available. Discover more.
Art Basel Paris

#FLODown: Ahh yes. This week may be colloquially known as Paris Art Week, but we all know, really, it belongs to Art Basel. Unlike the boutique fairs, Art Basel reflects a city defined by contrast and exchange as it pays just as much attention to the youth, diversity, and underground cultures shaping Paris today as it does the gilded cages of luxury. And although the actual fair takes place in the Grand Palais, Art Basel doesn’t stop there. Expect pop-ups and activations on the streets, gardens and historic landmarks of the French capital thanks to Miu Miu, who have partnered with the fair’s Public Program for 2026. Further into the city, you’ll be able to spot three monumental bronze sculptures by Tracey Emin at the Parvis des Droits de l'Homme and a landmark 40-screen video installation Küba by Kutluğ Ataman, telling the story of a vanished Istanbul neighbourhood at the Beaux-Arts de Paris.
Date: 23–25 October 2026. Location: Grand Palais, Square Jean Perrin, 17 Avenue du Général Eisenhower, 75008 Paris. Price: €47. Concessions available. Discover more.
AKAA Art & Design Fair Paris

#FLODown: AKAA (Also Known as Africa) is France’s only design fair centred around the African continent and its rich design offerings. Reaffirming its commitment to promoting the visibility, mobility, and recognition of African and Afro-descendant artists on the international stage, the fair brings together collectors, art professionals, and contemporary art enthusiasts with a particular interest in art that travels beyond a Eurocentric perspective. What’s better is that this year, the fair launches a new section titled AKAA PHOTO, revealing how photographers shape a visual memory that chronicles the upheavals of time through urban transformations and reinvented traditions.
Date: 23–25 October 2026. Location: Le Carreau du Temple, 4 rue Eugène Spuller, 75003 Paris. Price: €16. Concessions available. Discover more.
Menart Fair

#FLODown: Just like AKAA, Menart Fair also prides itself on spotlighting art beyond Western circles. Involving more than one hundred modern and contemporary artists, most of whom are recognised in their respective countries, the fair makes sure to create dialogue between the different cultures of the MENA region. Alongside participating galleries, this year’s edition will include multiple roundtable discussions centred on the intersection between art and politics, asking questions such as ‘Where is Home?’ while also looking at the past and future of Arab art.
Date: 23–25 October 2026. Location: Menart Fair, 116 Rue de Turenne, 75003 Paris. Price: €16. Concessions available. Discover more.

#FLODown: Many know Paris Photo as the big sister to Photo London, but if you were going to place each fair side by side, we’d say there was little, if any, comparison between the two. After all, can you really beat the Grand Palais? Not to mention a celebration that marks a whopping 200 years since the birth of the medium? We thought not. What’s even better is that this year’s edition is the fair’s biggest yet, drawing many of the industry’s finest galleries, all eager to celebrate photography and push at the boundaries of what a photograph can be, with 242 exhibitors (195 galleries and 47 publishers) from 38 countries. During the week, specialist publishers and art book dealers will also set up camp, offering rare editions, book launches and signing sessions with some of today’s most renowned artists. Those drawn to the medium’s history will also rejoice in the knowledge that the Main sector promises to shine a spotlight on photography’s early pioneers, with works by Louis Daguerre, William Henry Fox Talbot and Anna Atkins presented by Hans P. Kraus Jr. Other sectors include Voices (inviting guest curators from across the globe), Digital (examining how digital technologies are changing our perception of images) and Emergence (revealing the diverse approaches of artists looking to reinvent the language of photography). See you there.
Date: 12–15 November 2026. Location: Grand Palais, Square Jean Perrin, 17 Avenue du Général Eisenhower, 75008 Paris. Price: Tickets start at €36. Concessions and group discounts available. Discover more.
