The Living and the Dead Ensemble

Callum Eaton. Look But Don’t Touch
Carl Kostyál gallery presents Callum Eaton's debut solo exhibition titled Look but don't touch. Eaton explores everyday urban elements, like obsolete telephone boxes and vending machines, using his two-dimensional approach to highlight the shift from function to form. He employs trompe-l'œil techniques, capturing his surroundings and blurring the lines between reality and the canvas. Little Village is an organisation that provides assistance to families living in poverty with babies and children under the age of five. They operate a network called the "baby bank," which involves collecting, organising, and distributing clothes and equipment for these families. The organisation's support extends beyond material aid, they have a dedicated team to offer guidance and referrals to other services for parents. Little Village also collaborates with families to share their experiences and advocate for changes in the systems that contribute to their poverty. With hubs in various London areas, such as Camden, Wandsworth, Brent, Hackney, and Hounslow, Little Village has aided over 24,000 children under the age of five since their establishment in 2016.
