Where to watch Wimbledon 2026 in London

Missed out on Wimbledon 2026 tickets? Don’t worry, you can still soak up the excitement of The Championships without heading to SW19. From 29 June to 12 July 2026, giant screens will pop up across London, broadcasting live coverage from the All England Club. Most locations are free to attend, with deckchairs, food stalls and summer drinks creating a great atmosphere for watching matches with fellow fans. Here’s our guide to the best places to watch Wimbledon 2026 on the big screen across London.


Hanover Square

#FLODown: For the first time, Hanover Square will host a free public screening of the full Wimbledon Championships as part of “W1mbledon in Hanover Square”. The square will show every match on a large outdoor screen, with deckchairs and a full day-to-night setup just off Oxford Street in the heart of the West End. A Market Halls bar will serve summer drinks including Pimm’s, frozen rosé and beers, alongside bar snacks, while a Mandarin Oriental Mayfair cart offers strawberries and cream and soft serve. Visitors can also get involved between matches with swing ball and table tennis, making it an easy place to spend an afternoon following the action in central London.

Eccleston Yards

#FLODown: Eccleston Yards returns as one of central London’s most reliable Wimbledon screening spots. The courtyard is set with a large outdoor screen and relaxed seating, creating an easy-going place to watch matches just behind Victoria station. It works well for both daytime and evening viewing. Food and drink come from onsite venues including amie wine studio and Weezie’s pizza.

#FLODown: Rosewood London hosts a more cosy Wimbledon experience in its courtyard terrace, with screenings from the quarter-final stage onwards. The setting is quieter and more seated, designed for longer, relaxed viewing. For 2026, the hotel is serving a Wimbledon-inspired cocktail called the “Centre Courtyard Smash,” alongside a seasonal terrace menu built for long summer sessions.

#FLODown: Covent Garden returns as one of London’s key Wimbledon screening locations, with daily live coverage of the Championships shown on a large screen in the Piazza. Visitors can pull up a deckchair and watch Centre Court action in the heart of the West End, whether stopping by between shops or settling in for a full afternoon of matches. Champagne Lanson partners the experience, with seasonal drinks served throughout, alongside light summer bites and Wimbledon-inspired desserts including The Ivy Market Grill’s “Centre Court Bombe” and Sticks ‘n’ Sushi’s limited-edition Tenisu Bōru.

#FLODown: Returning for its third year, Ham Yard Hotel’s “Centre Court-Yard” will screen live coverage of Wimbledon daily on a large outdoor LED screen throughout the Championships. Guests can watch with cocktails, strawberries and cream, or afternoon tea, with wireless headphones available for commentary. Final weekend bookings are offered for the Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s Singles and Doubles Finals, including a reserved table for the match, a Wimbledon Cup No. 1 cocktail and strawberries and cream ice cream, with limited availability for select sessions.

#FLODown: Granary Square once again hosts one of London’s most relaxed Wimbledon viewing spots. The canal-side steps and open seating form a natural amphitheatre around the large screen, creating a casual space for watching matches throughout the day. The square fills with seating and standing space, creating one of west London’s most established Wimbledon traditions.
