Hospital Rooms launches public sale of anniversary art poste

Hospital Rooms is celebrating its 10th anniversary by launching a special public sale of limited-edition contemporary art posters, with funds supporting the charity’s work transforming NHS mental health hospitals across the UK. The 10 Posters for 10 Years campaign features artwork created by some of the world’s leading contemporary artists, including Jeremy Deller, Antony Gormley, Beatriz Milhazes, Yinka Shonibare, Anish Kapoor, and Grayson Perry. Each poster will be available to purchase for £100, giving art lovers the opportunity to own a unique anniversary edition while supporting the charity’s mission to bring creativity into mental health settings.

The project aims to make high-quality contemporary art more accessible while improving the environments of NHS mental health wards. A total of 10,000 artworks will be distributed to acute, secure, and locked mental health hospitals across England through Hospital Rooms’ Digital Art School programme. By placing ambitious artworks directly into healthcare settings, the charity hopes to create more welcoming and inspiring spaces for patients experiencing severe mental distress.

The poster campaign is inspired by historic public art initiatives that brought culture into everyday spaces, including schools and hospitals. Each limited-edition print will be produced to order on Somerset Satin paper, blind-embossed with the Hospital Rooms logo, and accompanied by a certificate featuring a message or reflection from the artist. Funds raised from the sales will support the Hospital Rooms Future Fund, helping the charity continue developing artist-led projects within mental health services.

To celebrate its 10-year anniversary, Hospital Rooms will also present Host|Guest, a major exhibition at Victoria Miro in London in September 2026. The exhibition will examine collaboration, care, and creativity, featuring large-scale recreations of artworks originally commissioned for NHS mental health settings. Many of these works are rarely seen by the public, offering visitors a unique insight into the charity’s decade of work bringing contemporary art into healthcare environments.
