The essential guide to Ibiza: from art and dining to beaches and nightlife
Ibiza has earned a reputation as one of Europe’s leading party islands, renowned for world-class DJs and unforgettable nightlife, yet it still retains a charm that goes beyond the clubs. From beautiful sunsets and farm-to-table dining to serene beaches and a rich artistic scene, here is our guide to exploring the many facets of this much-loved island.
The art
Ibiza has a growing cultural landscape, with museums and galleries that trace the island’s artistic history while reflecting its ongoing creativity. From museums such as Museu d’Art Contemporani d’Eivissa (MACE), which presents Spain’s modernist movement, Museo Puget, preserving the works of Ibiza-born painters Narcís Puget Viñas and his son, and Casa Broner, the 1960 cubist home of architect Erwin Broner, to contemporary spaces such as Parra & Romero Warehouse and La Nave Salinas, the island offers a wide range of artistic experiences.

The Food
Ibiza has a plethora of fantastic restaurants, with a culinary scene that ranges from relaxed seaside dining and Michelin-starred establishments to historic, family-run venues. Ses Roques offers classic dishes with sea views, Juntos House focuses on seasonal, farm-to-table dining, and Can D’en Parra, a family-run favourite in Dalt Vila, is known for authentic, traditional cuisine.

The beach clubs
Ibiza’s beach clubs are destinations in their own right, where food, music, and oceanfront settings create all-day experiences. From the elegance of El Chiringuito on Es Cavallet and the cliffside setting of Amante, to the polished style of Cotton Beach Club, each offers a distinctive character. On Cala Jondal, Casa Jondal and Blue Marlin provide contrasting vibes, one refined and relaxed, the other high-energy and iconic, while well-loved venues like Beachouse and Nikki Beach continue to attract stylish crowds.
