Peter Blake exhibition to open at Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery

A major exhibition will celebrate the life and work of Sir Peter Blake, one of the most influential figures in British Pop Art, at Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery. The exhibition will present highlights from his seven-decade career, including paintings, collages, prints, sculpture, and works on paper. Blake is widely known for shaping British visual culture through his bold use of popular imagery and his iconic contributions to album design and contemporary art.

A key feature of the exhibition is a recreation of Blake’s West London studio, offering insight into the environment where many of his works were produced. Alongside this, a wide selection of his art will be shown, reflecting his long-standing interest in music, film, advertising, and everyday British life. The exhibition will also highlight his connections to the cultural history of London, including the creative energy of the 1960s and his collaboration on the Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover.
