Camp Bestival 2025: Pop royalty & Slomo vibes await

Part playground, part musical marathon, part whimsical wellbeing wonderland, Camp Bestival is gearing up for its 17th edition this weekend (31st July – 3rd August 2025). A four-day bash set amidst the historic grandeur and natural beauty of Lulworth Castle, Dorset.

First up: music. 2025 sees festival firsts from living legend Sir Tom Jones (yes, really!) and the unapologetically iconic Sugababes, plus a carnival-fuelled, confetti-dropping headline set from electronic mavens Basement Jaxx. DJ royals Annie Mac, Erol Alkan and Congo Natty will keep ravers on their feet; Britpop fans can catch Lightning Seeds and The Zutons, whilst Goldie brings his full band for the drum and bass aficionados.

It’s Not Just About the Lineup… new for this year, Josie and Rob da Bank have launched Slomo, a “festival within a festival” dedicated to Next Generation Wellbeing. Expect an unhurried universe of breathwork, meditation, sound baths, yoga, and contrast therapy (yes, ice baths and wood-fired saunas are on tap), plus family shake-out sessions, cacao mornings, cooking demos, reiki, reflexology, and workshops from wellness pros like Jasmine Hemsley and Maude Hirst. Whether you want to meditate quietly or plunge headlong into a freezing tub, this is where you do it.

Also new for 2025, kids can get hands-on in Tinkertown, learning to build with recycled wooden pallets, while sporty types can give the inflatable parkour AirTrack a spin. Budding bakers can head to Earth Crust’s Bread School to learn the art of making bread from the likes of Dusty Knuckle, and the all-new Caravan World offers Caravan Karaoke, a Secret Disco, old-school arcade fun, and the magical Sol Cinema. Creative kids will love the revamped Fashion & Textile World with block printing, Sashiko embroidery, and visible mending, as well as the newly expanded Art Town, running sessions in all sorts, from mosaics to printing and paper-fruit making!
