Music events to be on your radar in London this weekend: 2–4 October 2026
If summer's closing parties left you wanting more, October's first weekend has you covered. There are 18-hour marathons in Canning Town, a new riverside warehouse opening its doors, an ambient night in a Hackney church and a sweaty basement for hard house heads. Here are the music events to book this weekend.
A travel note before you head out, the Jubilee line is closed for planned engineering work on Saturday 3 October, so plan your route to East London in advance.
Friday
The Lounge x POSER present: Kara Okay
#FLODown: Irish party The Lounge throws its first London night, five years after it started. Kara Okay headlines with fast, bouncy hard house, and Poser opens at full tempo, followed by HyperFunk, DJ-CK, Coinín Beag and Becky. It's in the basement at The Glove That Fits, so expect it to be packed and loud.
Date: Friday 2 October, 10pm–4am Location: The Glove That Fits, 179 Morning Lane, Hackney, London E9 6LH Price: £15–£20 (20+) Book now.
Saturday
Transmissions x Breakfast Club with Helena Hauff, Nicolas Lutz
#FLODown: Amsterdam party Breakfast Club, known for starting early and finishing late, brings its first London party to FOLD with Transmissions. Doors open at 10am with breakfast laid on. Helena Hauff plays electro and techno, Nicolas Lutz digs into rare minimal and house records, and RDS plays live. At 10pm the party moves next door to Star Lane until 4am.
Date: Saturday 3 October, 10am–10pm (afterparty until 4am) Location: FOLD, Gillian House, Stephenson St, London E16 4SA. Price: £15–£32.50 (21+) Book now.
Jamie Jones presents Voyager
#FLODown: Jamie Jones, the Welsh DJ behind the Paradise parties in Ibiza, plays two sets, one of his tracks and records from the 2010s, and one of newer music. Seth Troxler, Adam Ten and Chez Damier b2b Manda Moor are also on the bill, with live vocals from Ali Love and Kah-Lo. It's the opening party for Ironworks, a new warehouse venue by the river in the Royal Docks.
Date: Saturday 3 October, 12pm–10pm Location: Ironworks, Thames Wharf, Scarab Close, London E16 1AF. Price: £59.65 - £111.95 Book now
Apparat
#FLODown: Berlin producer Sascha Ring, aka Apparat, is one half of Moderat with Modeselektor, and wrote the score for the Netflix series Dark. His solo records mix electronic beats with strings, piano and his own soft vocals, and the songs build slowly rather than drop. It should sound great in Hackney Church, where the show takes place, as the high ceilings give the strings and vocals room to carry. It's a good choice if you'd rather listen than dance.
Date: Saturday 3 October, 7pm–11pm Location: Hackney Church, St John at Hackney, Lower Clapton Rd, London E5 0PD Price: from £34.50 + fees (14+, under-16s must be with an adult) Book now.
DON'T with Jerome Hill
#FLODown: DON'T has been running techno and electro nights in London since 2012. Jerome Hill, a London DJ who has been playing since the 90s, runs the Don't Records and Super Rhythm Trax labels. His sets are fast and tough: jacking techno, acid and electro, mixed quickly on vinyl. Venue MOT is a small, no-frills space on an industrial estate in Deptford, with cheap tickets and a crowd that knows the music.
Date: Saturday 3 October. Location: Venue MOT, Unit 18, Orion Business Centre, Surrey Canal Rd, London SE14 5RT Price: £15 Book now.
NEXUP: The Return
#FLODown: Max Dean is back at Drumsheds after his first show there sold out, playing house and bass-heavy tech house with his brothers Luke and Joss Dean, Locky, Ellis Garner and more. It's an all-dayer, finishing at 10:30pm.
Date: Saturday 3 October, 3pm–10:30pm Location: Drumsheds, 6 Glover Drive, London N18 3HF Price: from £32.95 - £165. Book now
