#FLODown: Scully opened in 2018 with Ramael Scully at the helm after his long and influential stint as Head Chef at Yotam Ottolenghi’s famed NOPI in Soho. His heritage spans Malaysia, Australia, and Irish-Balinese roots, as a result the restaurant’s menu blends exciting bold international flavours with seasonal British ingredients. The vegan menu reflects his heritage, using inventive combinations and techniques like fermentation, pickling, and slow-cooking to elevate vegetables into truly satisfying dishes, such as nasi jagung with cracked corn and candied jalapeños.

#FLODown: Pied à Terre is a refined, creative and genuinely vegan-friendly destination, combining world-class technique with thoughtful plant-based innovation in one of London’s most established foodie enclaves, Charlotte Street. Founded in 1991 by restaurateur David Moore, the restaurant achieved its first Michelin star within a few years of opening and has retained this distinction ever since, securing its place among the city’s most celebrated Michelin-starred establishments.
The restaurant turns 35 this year, marked by the return of former sous chef Aggelos Kassais as head chef. After time away working at OPSO in Marylebone, then with Claude Bosi at Bibendum and his mentor Asimakis Chaniotis at Myrtos in South Kensington, Aggelos returns with a vision of clean, minimal-intervention cooking that embraces British seasonal ingredients.

#FLODown: Bubala, a Middle Eastern eatery has opened a new spot inKings Cross adding to their establishments in Spitalfields and Soho. They offer a charming vegetarian and vegan menu. From a Brussel sprout Fattoush to savoury oyster mushroom skewers and the ever-popular combination of hummus, date, and baharat crunch. Each dish promises a wholesome and flavourful experience. Their £30 set menu for lunch is a nice easy option to sample what they have on offer.

#FLODown: Located in the heart of Soho, TANGRA has fast made its mark and has become a compelling option for vegans during Veganuary 2026 and beyond. Inspired by the bustling Tangra neighbourhood of Kolkata — known as the birthplace of Indo-Chinese cuisine, the restaurant brings bold, wok-fired dishes and a spirited atmosphere to central London’s food scene. Tangra serves Indo-Chinese vegan and vegetarian cuisine from Head Chef Nikesh who previously worked at Mildreds & Mallow. About 75% of this menu is vegan. An excellent choice for groups as the menu is built for sharing in the communal spirit of Indo-Chinese dining. Dishes are full of flavour without being overly spicy. Be sure to order star dishes like the Bazaar Momos with a melty filling and served with a hearty sauce and the Garlic Aubergine dish. “The Tangra Edit” option makes ordering easy with a spread built for sharing at £32.50 per person. Otherwise, the a la carte menu has everything priced under £12 which is a relief on the post-holiday wallet. Lastly don’t miss the cocktails such as Coconut Negroni and the Lychee Bijiu Sling.
The colourful façade will lure you in and the interiors are striking with bright pops of colour, bold graphic elements adding an unmistakably lively, Soho-style. It’s a fun, buzzy vibe here.
Also bear in mind towards the end of the week from Thursday – Saturday they stay open until 1.30am for any late-night cravings you may have.

The small, welcoming space has a relaxed, friendly vibe perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. it’s a local favourite with limited seating and often buzzy at peak times. The price point sits in the lower mid-range, offering excellent value for generous portions of hearty vegan comfort food without breaking the bank. Highlights include classics like Bibimbap with crispy tofu or vegan “beef”, flavour-packed Sweet Potato Noodles (Japchae)and spicy Tteokbokki (rice cakes). Don’t miss the savoury Kimchi Pancake or crunchy Crispy Fried Seaweed Rolls to start, and their Kimchi Fried Rice is a crowd-pleaser too.
