SXSW London unveils plans for inaugural 2025 festival in Shoreditch

Passes for the week-long celebration of creativity, music, and innovation go on sale 21 November, with exclusive offers available for early buyers.

SXSW London has announced that passes for its inaugural event will go on sale starting 21 November. Taking place in Shoreditch from 2 - 7 June 2025, the festival aims to become a leading platform for creative innovation and artistic convergence in Europe. The event will feature a Conference, Music and Screen Festivals, alongside unique programming strands that highlight the intersection of technology, art, and business. Early purchasers can take advantage of a 25% exclusive offer until 19 December, with prices ranging from £488 for individual strands to £975 for platinum passes. This marks the festival’s ambition to build on the legacy of SXSW Austin while incorporating the unique cultural essence of Britain and Europe.

In its commitment to community engagement, SXSW London will provide over 500 complimentary passes to charities and community groups in East London, ensuring representation from the area’s diverse and vibrant population. Venues across Shoreditch, including the Truman Brewery, Rich Mix, and Shoreditch Town Hall, will host festival activities, reflecting the neighbourhood’s rich artistic and cultural heritage. In addition to these efforts, SXSW London will collaborate with local and independent venues to foster workforce development, further embedding the festival into the community it serves. This strong local emphasis is designed to create a meaningful and lasting impact on Shoreditch.

SXSW London has also confirmed Billboard as its first official partner, solidifying the festival’s connection to the global music scene. Billboard will host a high-profile music event during the festival, featuring an internationally renowned artist. The show will be ticketed, with exclusive access for platinum and music badge holders.
