Where to find Oktoberfest in London this October
The first Oktoberfest was held in Munich in October 1810 to mark the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen. It has since become a two-week festival drawing around six million visitors a year, and has been copied in cities around the world. London has been holding its own version since 2011.
There is no single Oktoberfest in the capital. What exists instead is a scatter of separate events with their own dates, formats and prices, from large outdoor sites to permanent beer halls that give themselves a seasonal makeover. Here is where to find it.
London Oktoberfest, Finsbury Park
London Oktoberfest to the city returns from 1-3 October 2026. Image courtesy of London Oktoberfest
#FLODown: The longest-running of the capital's Oktoberfest events, scaled down for 2026 into a single three-day weekend in one location rather than spread across several. The format is the traditional beer tent one, with long tables, Bavarian FestBeer, German food and a live band.
Date: 1 - 3 October. Thursday and Friday 5pm to 11pm, Saturday 11am to 4.30pm and 5.30pm to 11pm. Location Finsbury Park, London. Price from £10 for general admission, £55 for the full package. Book now.
Oktoberfest on the Common

#FLODown: The biggest outdoor version in the city, back on Clapham Common for twelve sessions over three weekends. A large tent houses the main stage and the long tables, with brass bands, dancing, Bavarian games, fairground rides and plenty of sausage. Friday sessions are 5pm to 11pm, and Saturdays are split between a daytime and an evening slot. Over 18s only.
Dates 9, 10, 16, 17, 23 and 24 October 2026. Location Clapham Common West Side, London SW4 9AT. Price from £24. Book now.
Bermondsey Bierkeller

#FLODown: A permanent Bavarian beer hall by London Bridge, which makes it the reliable choice if you would rather not be outdoors in late October. Oompah bands play Thursdays and Saturdays, the Hosen Stage band takes Fridays, and Saturday afternoons bring a bottomless Bavarian brunch. Saturday evenings add fire acts, stilt walkers and performances from Youtopia Productions.
Date: until 31 October 2026. Location: 2 to 4 Tooley Street, London SE1 2SY. Price from £20 for entry with a reserved bench, rising to £45 and above for packages that include two steins and a food token. bermondseybierkeller.co.uk
Albert's Schloss, Soho

#FLODown: Among the very few places outside Munich pouring all six official Oktoberfest beers, with Hofbräu, Löwenbräu, Augustiner, Paulaner, Hacker-Pschorr and Spaten all on tap. The programme includes a traditional keg tapping, live oompah and brass bands, beer tasting masterclasses with the in-house tapsters, bratwurst eating contests and a lederhosen competition. Entry is free and walk-ins are welcome, though booking is sensible if you want to eat or are coming as a group.
Dates until 25 October 2026. Location Albert's Schloss, Shaftesbury Avenue, Soho. Price free to enter. Food and drink packages from £33 for a two-course set menu, £40 for three courses, £55 per person for the bier masterclass, and £60 for a sharing Bavarian feast for two that includes a bier each. albertsschloss.com

#FLODown: Celebrating its tenth year, Camden Oktoberfest turns the Electric Ballroom into a Bavarian beer hall for three Saturdays in October. Live oompah bands and DJ sets provide the music, with bratwurst and German beer served in steins, plus games and competitions. Doors at 2pm, finishing at 9pm. Over 18s only.
Date: 10, 17 and 24 October 2026. Location: Electric Ballroom, 184 Camden High Street, London NW1 8QP. Price: from £12.55 for standard entry, £240.06 for a table of eight. electricballroom.co.uk
BOXPARK Shoreditch

#FLODown: BOXPARK has teamed up with Staropramen across several of its sites, and the Shoreditch branch takes the bottomless brunch approach rather than the full beer hall. Expect bottomless Staropramen, German food and games with prizes, alongside the usual street food traders, which makes it a workable option for anyone who does not want to eat sausage all afternoon.
Date: 10 October. Location BOXPARK Shoreditch, 2 to 10 Bethnal Green Road, London E1 6GY. Price from £39 for the Oktoberfest bottomless brunch.boxpark.co.uk
