Unmissable European festivals in Summer 2026

Europe’s summer season is one of the best times to travel, with long days, warm nights and a packed calendar of music festivals across the continent. From the woodland stages of Dekmantel in the Netherlands and sunrise sets at Anjunadeep Explorations on Albania’s Riviera, to the huge waterfront crowds of Primavera Sound in Spain, the settings are as varied as the line-ups themselves. Here is our guide to the European festivals not to miss this summer.

#FLODown: For electronic music devotees, Dekmantel is as good as it gets. Set in the Amsterdamse Bos, a vast city park, attendees get the best of both worlds - the sensation of being deep in the woods, but with easy access to the comforts of a major city. The 2026 lineup is stacked with heavy-hitters from the house and techno worlds alongside more niche offerings across countless subgenres, with Helena Hauff, Jeff Mills, powerhouse quartet SASS, Ricardo Villalobos and Sherelle among the highlights. Seven stages each offer a distinct atmosphere and sound, while a discourse programme, standalone concerts and city-wide afterparties running until 7am if five days of world-class selectors wasn't enough.
